Job summary

Allied Vehicles Limited, a family-owned specialist vehicle maker in Scotland, is seeking a Welder for our Pre-Production team. The role offers a four-day week with shifts from 7am to 6pm (Mon-Wed) and 7am-5.30pm on Thursday, with a salary up to £15.76 per hour plus bonus.

You will weld and fabricate sheet metal parts, follow job cards, and ensure quality through our documented processes in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• Time served or qualified welder with MIG experience.
• Experience welding and fabricating sheet metal.
• Familiarity with weld symbols.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Welder to join our Pre-Production department.

Hours of work are Monday - Wednesday, 7am - 6pm and Thursday 7am - 5.30pm, working just 4 days per week! The salary is up to £15.76 per hour + bonus.

What You'll Be Doing

• Adhere to job cards and complete all work in accordance with information provided, paying attention to the order of work and the time allowed.
• Comply with quality control systems, methods and documentation.
• Take all reasonable precautions to ensure all work is carried out in a manner to avoid damage to vehicles, equipment and company property.

About You

• Experience as a time served or qualified welder with M.I.G. experience.
• Previous experience of welding and fabrication of sheet metal.
• Familiarity with weld symbols.
