Job summary

Celeros Flow Technology is seeking an experienced welder/fabricator to join our UK team in Glasgow. You will fabricate and weld pipework to drawing specifications, ensure traceability during NDT, and work to ASME IX welding code.

You will build close relationships with the NDT team, manage materials, and contribute to on-time delivery under quality and safety standards. TIG, MIG, FCAW and MMA welding experience, plus relevant trade certificates, are advantageous.

Qualifications

  • TIG, MIG, FCAW, MMA welding experience preferred.
  • ASME IX welding code knowledge or exposure.
  • Trade test certificates LRQA, DNV, etc. beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and weld pipework to drawing specifications and to planned schedule.
  • Ensure traceability of pipework during the Non-Destructive Testing process.
  • Work with the NDT department and follow WPSs, health and safety standards.
  • Handle materials and work in a team under time pressures.

General Summary

Fabricate and weld pipework to drawing specifications and ensures that the pipework is identified to ensure traceability during the Non Destructive Testing process. Build and develop a close relationship with NDT department. Work to ASME 9 welding code.

Key Accountabilities
  • Fabricate and weld pipework to drawing specifications and to planned schedule as directed by line manager
  • Experienced in small to medium size fabrication of Pipework, assemblies and Structures.
  • Working to WPSs ,Health and safety and Welds up to Xray Quality .
  • Able to work in small team, with quality and time pressures, self motivated.
  • Obtain materials from stores areas including manual lifting and handling to a max of 30kg

Education / Experience
  • TIG, MIG, FCAW, MMA preferred.
