Job summary

Celeros Flow Technology seeks a skilled welder/fabricator to join our UK team. You will fabricate and weld pipework to drawings, ensuring traceability with the NDT department and working to ASME IX and related standards.

We value experience in TIG, MIG, FCAW, MMA welding and compliance with WPSs and safety protocols. This role involves working in a small team under schedule pressures and lifting light to moderate objects.

Qualifications

• > TIG, MIG, FCAW, MMA welding experience preferred.
• '> ASME IX and BS EN 15609/15614 experience considered.
• '> Trade test certificates LRQA, DNV, etc. beneficial.
• '> Right to work in the UK required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld pipework to drawing specifications and to planned schedule.
• Develop close relationship with NDT department to ensure traceability.
• Work to WPSs, health and safety, and welds up to Xray quality.
• Able to work in a small team under time pressures and be self-motivated.
• Obtain materials from stores, manual lifting up to 30kg.
• Material identification and allocation; document control.

General Summary

Fabricate and weld pipework to drawing specifications and ensures that the pipework is identified to ensure traceability during the Non Destructive Testing process. Build and develop a close relationship with NDT department. Work to ASME 9 welding code.

Key Accountabilities

• Fabricate and weld pipework to drawing specifications and to planned schedule as directed by line manager
• Experienced in small to medium size fabrication of Pipework, assemblies and Structures.
• Working to WPSs ,Health and safety and Welds up to Xray Quality .
• Able to work in small team, with quality and time pressures, self motivated.
• Obtain materials from stores areas including manual lifting and handling to a max of 30kg
• Internal relationships

Education / Experience

• TIG, MIG, FCAW, MMA preferred.
• ASME IX, BS EN 15609/15614 Level considered.
• Existing trade test Certificates LRQA, DNV, etc. beneficial.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Required daily to stand, sit, walk, talk, hear, and see (specific close vision abilities are required to perform computer work)
• Required occasionally to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl
• Required daily to use hands and fingers and arms to reach (to operate a computer and telephone)
• Required occasionally to lift and/or move objects that are light to moderate
• Required occasionally to travel (usually by air or road so may be required to sit for extended periods)

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Ability to work with moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, etc.)
• Ability to work in an open planned office / individual office
• Ability to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods
• Ability to sit in a car or on a plane for extended periods
