Job description

Welder (Service Engineer/Mobile/Fitter)

Salary: GBP 20 per hour (GBP 41,600 basic salary) + generous overtime paid at 1.5x and 2.0x, with realistic OTE of GBP 50,000 to GBP 70,000. Includes van, laptop, phone, uniform, PPE, paid door-to-door travel, call out allowance (1 in 7 paid extra), pension, and holidays.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (40 hours/week). Territory: Midlands/North of the UK.

This role is ideal for engineers with welding and fabrication experience on industrial equipment such as conveyors, bailers, recycling machinery, or similar. Overnight stays may be required when necessary.

You will join a team of Service Engineers, responsible for mechanical repairs on recycling equipment at client sites mainly in the North of England and Midlands. The role is customer-facing and paid door-to-door.

The Welder Role
