Responsibilities
  • Execute MIG and TIG welding on mild steel pipework (diameter 3"–12" outer diameter, wall thickness 6–10mm)
  • Perform minimal stainless welding on shells (8"–16" outer diameter, wall thickness 10s)
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings with precision
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, ensuring finished welds are aesthetically pleasing for painting
  • Collaborate with a small, skilled team to achieve project goals
  • Adhere to all safety protocols while working
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience)
  • Proven experience in fabrication welding
  • Ability to work from engineering drawings
  • High attention to detail and quality
  • Experience working with MIG and TIG welding techniques
  • Strong commitment to safety in the workplace
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience)
  • Coded welding experience preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar industrial environment
  • Familiarity with welding standards and practices
