Job summary

Hutcheon Services is seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join their team in Aberdeen on a commercial construction project. You’ll be welding prefabricated plant rooms for schools, offices and other sites, working from engineering drawings and delivering welds to a high standard. Start date 1st September.

Hours Mon-Thu 7:30am-4:00pm, Fri 7:30am-1:00pm. The initial contract is 4 weeks with ongoing work for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Proven TIG welding experience.
• Able to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
• CSCS card required.
• Valid weld certificates.
• CV demonstrating relevant commercial experience.
• Standard PPE (Hi-Vis, safety boots, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Weld prefabricated plant rooms for schools, offices and other commercial projects.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to complete welds to high standard.

Rate: - Flexible (DOE)

The role

You’ll be welding prefabricated plant rooms for schools, office buildings, and other commercial construction projects. This is a position for someone who can confidently work from engineering drawings and complete welds independently to a high standard.

• Proven TIG welding experience
• Able to read and interpret fabrication drawings
• CSCS card
• Valid weld certificates
• CV demonstrating relevant commercial experience
• Standard PPE (Hi-Vis, safety boots, etc.)

Duration

The initial contract is 4 weeks, with the opportunity for ongoing work for the right candidate based on performance.
