This post will provide an opportunity to contribute to an integrated service across Child Healthy Weight (CHW) and Adult Weight Management Services in Tayside.
You will be joining a dynamic, proactive multi disciplinary team supported by Dietitians, Clinical Psychology, Physiotherapy, Dietetic Support Workers and administrative staff. This post offers an opportunity to contribute to service improvement and pathway development in addition to delivering direct patient care.
This post would suit an experienced band 5 dietitian or a band 6 dietitian with transferable skills and knowledge who is looking for a new challenge. Ideally candidates should have previous clinical experience in weight management excellent inter-personal and communications skills and the ability to demonstrate good team working as well as being able to work autonomously are required.
The Tayside Nutrition & Dietetic Service promotes collaborative working across all our teams. This enables and encourages the development and implementation of pathways, standards and innovative practice. It also allows for extensive peer support and opportunities for professional development. We are committed to the training of dietetic students, medical students and other healthcare professionals.
Some flexibility will be required as you will be expected to travel across Tayside to deliver services, some evening work will also be required on approximately 2/3 days of the week.
You must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Hours of work are: 37hrs per week, part time and job share may be considered. Fixed Term/Secondment for 12 Months.
