Hills Quarry Products in Mortimer is seeking a Weighbridge Operative to manage weighbridge operations and accurately process vehicle movements. You will support sales, ensure compliance, and handle cash sales with attention to detail.

The role requires excellent customer service skills, strong communication, and solid IT and administrative capabilities to maintain records and coordinate transport for timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring customer requirements are met and all vehicle movements are processed accurately and efficiently through the weighbridge system.
• Liaise closely with the Sales Office, communicating additional customer requirements, order amendments, and any discrepancies in scheduled deliveries.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures, ensuring materials are supplied only to authorised customers.
• Process cash sales transactions accurately and professionally in line with company procedures.
• Complete daily weighbridge administration, including recording tonnages, reconciling documentation, and preparing information for the Sales Office.
• Support the coordination of transport and logistics activities, assisting with vehicle scheduling and routing to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support efficient quarry operations and regulatory compliance.
