Breedon Group is seeking a motivated Weighbridge Operative at Daviot Quarry & Asphalt Plant, Inverness. You will operate the weighbridge, weigh vehicles, and ensure all records and invoicing data are accurate while following site procedures and regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles with strong communication.
• Proficient in MS Word/Excel and learning site systems quickly.
• Attention to detail in weighing, recording, and invoicing.
• Commitment to safety, compliance and site rules.
• Organised with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and induct first-time drivers.
• Check access requirements and guide non-compliant drivers.
• Enforce health and safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Record vehicle weights accurately on the weighbridge.
• Issue uplift and delivery tickets for invoicing.
• Coordinate deliveries with sales and distribution teams.
• Plan daily deliveries and manage fleet resources.
• Handle customer issues and escalate to Quarry Manager when needed.
• Support public enquiries and maintain weighbridge cleanliness.
• Perform weekly weighbridge inspections and report faults.
