Days - 48 hours per week - start times vary depending on business needs

So what's the mission?
Did you know Marshalls own the largest reserves of dimensional stone in the UK?! Our quarry in Stainton provides endless opportunities for quarrying sandstone which we are then able to tailor to customer requirements. It’s a fast-moving operation and we process up to 4,000 tonnes of material per day You'll be part of our well-established team and aggregate operation at our Maltby quarry. This is a varied role, working closely with site supervisors and operators, supporting the daily delivery and collection of aggregates at the quarry. You'll be tasked with ensuring the delivery schedule is completed by our hauliers and various external companies, allocating deliveries to various vehicles, collecting materials, issuing tickets, and weighing vehicles in and out of the site.

This is a busy role and requires someone to work at pace, with real accuracy logging all despatch and collected orders via our internal computer system. You'll also be tasked with making sure people have the right PPE to enter and operate within the site in a safe way and effective way.

What are the mission-critical skills?
This role will suit someone who is a confident communicator and comfortable working autonomously within their own workspace. The additional skills below will stand you in good stead:

  • Good handwriting and mental arithmetic skills
  • Strong communication skills as you'll be speaking with hauliers/customers and the internal sales team
  • Good basic PC knowledge
  • Strong ability to manage workload during busy periods
  • Effective at multi-tasking due to the pace and variety of the role
