Job description

Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced individual to join as a Weighbridge Administrator / Site Compliance Administrator / Weighbridge Operator to join their team. This is a permanent job from the start.

NOTE –This isnotjust an Administrator job, it is very hands-on with Weighbridge operation.

PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF:

  • You have experience as a Weighbridge Administrator / Weighbridge Operative
  • You are confident with computer systems
  • You have an awareness of the importance of Health & Safety and compliance on industrial sites
  • You drive and have your own transport
  • You can start ASAP (or with a minimum of 2 week’s notice)

This role will suit someone with previous experience as a Weighbridge Clerk, Multisite Operative, Multi site Operative, Weighbridge Operative, Process Operator, Distribution Operative, Logistics Operator, Yard Operative, Compliance Officer that has experience of operating a Weighbridge, and ideally a Loading Shovel.

Salary: £27,185 per year.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday (Hours to be confirmed, likely 6am - 2pm or 8am – 4pm), 40 hours a week.

The main duties and responsibilities:

  • This role is mainly single office based on an industrial site, but will include site inspections and general housekeeping, contractor management, site compliance with planning records, and day to day operational task completion.
  • General site administration duties, this will include computer use and support to first line management in respect to quality management, health and safety, and compliance.
  • Interact with external parties, including vehicles drivers and contractors on a regular basis.
  • Providing complete Weighbridge weighing system operation cover.
  • When required, carry out the role of a Loading Shovel Operator (training will be provided, no experience needed)
  • Permit management and perpetual update of relevant health and safety and quality systems.
  • Site inductions as required for contractors.

Requirements:

  • Experience of operating and monitoring a Weighbridge
  • You need to be highly efficient and accurate with a good eye for detail
  • Health & safety aware
  • Previous experience within a heavy production / manufacturing environment would be an advantage
