Job Description

At Inghams Distribution Centre based in Truganina, Victoria, you will join a group of hard-working team players and be a part of a culture invested in developing the talents of our workers at our state-of-the-art facility built in 2022.

In this role you will be supporting our Weigh Label Room in processing, inspecting, packing, weighing and labelling raw packaged chicken meat. These are entry level roles with full training provided, however warehousing and food industry experience will be highly-regarded.

We are currently recruiting to the following shifts :

• Day Shift : 05 : 00am - 13 : 06pm
• Immediate start - No experience required, on the job training provided

Daily Tasks

• Working in a demanding FMCG environment, motivated to meet or exceed our customer expectations, delivery timings, order fulfillment and food safety HACCP programs
• Tending labelling lines and label applicators, performing processing tasks efficiently and working to meet individual and group targets
• Manual handling duties - lifting, pulling, pushing, bending and reaching
• Storing and maintaining materials, equipment and tools
• Identifying and escalating Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks

You will bring to this role

• Understand and follow instructions and procedures

• Physically fit and repetitively lift 5kg-15kg
• Flexibility to cover various shifts when required
