Job summary

Invictus Complex Care Ltd in Totton is seeking an experienced Complex Care Assistant for a regular weekly shift with a client who has an acquired brain injury. The role focuses on person-centred support to promote independence, safety and wellbeing within the home.

You will provide personal care, PEG feeding and medication administration, plus domestic tasks and social activities, while working with a nurse-led team to ensure high-quality care and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience with complex needs or brain injury preferred.
• Ability to provide person-centred care with dignity and respect.
• Willingness to undertake training for PEG feeding and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity and privacy.
• Support PEG feeding and nutritional needs.
• Administer medications per care plan and competencies.
• Provide domestic support within the client’s home.
• Support social activities and community access.
• Encourage independence and client choice.
• Build a respectful, trusting relationship with the client.
• Assist the client to engage in activities and interests.
• Collaborate with wider care and clinical team.
• Maintain accurate care records and raise concerns as needed.
