Supreme Recruitment is hiring a Waste Segregation Officer for weekend shifts in Fratton. The role is Saturday and Sunday only, starting 07.00 for 3 hours per day (6 hours total). Safety boots and orange high-visibility clothing are required.

You will sort customer waste into correct recycling and non-recycling bins on-site and liaise with customers as needed. Ideal candidates show reliability, clear communication, and attention to detail.

Competenze

• Must demonstrate reliability and good communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail for organising waste into recycling/non-recycling streams.
• Experience in waste industry desirable but not essential.

Mansioni

• Collect, sort, and dispose of waste materials according to procedures and regulations.
• Operate waste handling equipment safely (e.g., compactors/balers).
• Assist with loading/unloading waste containers using proper lifting techniques.
• Keep waste areas clean, organised and hazard-free.
• Conduct routine inspections of waste storage areas for safety.
• Follow health and safety protocols at all times to minimise risks from lifting and machinery.
• Collaborate with team to optimise waste management processes.
