Job description

Location: Greenwich, SE10

Working Hours:

Fri – Sun (33 Hours)

Please note this shift operates on a rotation of two weeks of day shifts followed by two weeks of night shifts:

  1. Day Shift: 6am - 5:30pm
  2. Night Shift: 6pm - 5:30am

Training will take place during weekdays.

Rate of Pay:

Dependent on your experience: £11 - £14

Job Description:

Working in a busy manufacturing and production environment for a large engineering company, this role offers an opportunity to join a renowned organization specializing in subsea telecommunications equipment. You will collaborate with a team of Technical Assembly Operators, Support Engineers, and Team Leaders to ensure the efficient, safe, and accurate assembly of complex equipment.

Main Duties:
  1. Utilize electrical, electronic, or mechanical assembly skills to ensure product quality.
  2. Follow engineering drawings and specifications.
  3. Build, assemble, and install modules that comprise the equipment.
  4. Complete rack wiring for panels as per drawings.
  5. Assemble power supply units and install cubicles.
  6. Work on control panels, including wiring with crimp tools.
  7. Solder components and D-type connectors.
  8. Perform electrical/prototype wiring.
  9. Build and assemble PCBs.
