Job summary

Community Care Live is recruiting Secure Residential Support Workers for Swanwick Lodge in the Southampton area to cover weekend shifts only. You will work Saturday and Sunday, including bank holidays, for 17 hours per weekend with start times 07:30-16:00 or 14:00-22:30, with training provided and ongoing development opportunities.

You will act as a therapeutic parent with children who have complex needs, joining a supportive team in a safe, structured home environment.

Qualifications

• This role requires emotional intelligence, resilience and the ability to be patient and respectful.
• Experience with children or adults in residential/secure settings is an advantage but not essential.
• Commitment to training and weekend schedule.

Responsibilities

• Act as a therapeutic parent and role model for children.
• Provide a safe, structured, and supportive environment at Swanwick Lodge.
• Collaborate with education and health teams to engage in activities.
• Complete mandatory induction and ongoing training.
