Job summary

Budwood in Southampton is seeking caring and motivated Casual Residential Support Workers to join our team. You will support children and young people in safe, welcoming homes, helping them with daily routines, building positive relationships and developing life skills.

No extensive experience is required; we provide full training and ongoing supervision to help you grow in the role. This is ad hoc cover with shift patterns on rotation.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Friendly and able to speak to and listen to children and colleagues.
• Willing to complete an enhanced DBS check, cost covered by us.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with daily routines.
• Build positive relationships and be a trusted adult.
• Help them develop confidence, life skills and independence.
• Keep them safe, supported and encouraged every day.
