The Sterling Choice is recruiting a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to support a leading food manufacturer in the UK. You will cover a Friday to Monday day shift, ensuring production runs smoothly and preventive maintenance is completed on time.

You will work with electrical and mechanical systems, troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment, and lead continuous improvement projects to boost reliability and efficiency while maintaining strict food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar engineering role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing faults in PLC-controlled machinery.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
• Ideally apprentice-trained Engineers in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.

Responsabilités
