Job summary

Staffline, in partnership with G4S, is seeking a part-time Security Officer to work at a modern manufacturing site on the outskirts of Sheffield. The role covers Saturday and Sunday 05:00–13:00, with 16 hours per week and driving required due to location.

You will greet staff and visitors, monitor access, patrol the premises, and respond to incidents, delivering high levels of customer service while maintaining safety and security across the site.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must have own transport.
• Excellent communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greeting staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Chaperoning vendors in highly secure areas.
• Ensuring everyone follows the security and safety protocols of the site.
• Conducting searches when required.
• Patrolling the premises - both inside and outside.
• Dealing with any security incidents on site and completing relevant incident report forms.
• Excellent communication with the security supervisor and the client.
