Ward Security in London is recruiting an experienced Security Officer to safeguard a prominent facility. You will be visible, approachable and proactive, providing excellent customer service while maintaining security procedures.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, includes Saturday and Sunday shifts at London, EC3M 5BN, paying £14.91 per hour, with benefits such as Employee Assistance Programme, pension, life assurance and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid SIA Licence.
• Minimum five years of checkable history per BS7858 vetting.
• Experience as a Security Officer in a corporate environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Presentable and professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist staff and visitors with information in person, over the phone or by email.
• Carry out identification checks and follow security procedures to maintain safety and security.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents, escalate when required.
• Identify and report concerns, suspicious activity or health and safety risks promptly.
• Complete accurate incident reports with clear, concise details.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming environment and support reception duties as needed.
• Monitor and operate security detection systems and emergency equipment.
