Overview

We are looking for energetic and hard-working Seasonal Sales Assistants to join The Entertainer team working in Dundee Tesco Extra.

The Entertainer’s exciting partnership with Tesco brings a fantastic range of toys to a Tesco Superstore or Extra this Christmas.

Role

Based in this Tesco supermarket as a Tesco Seasonal Sales Assistant, you will be working with a small team to look after the toy aisles in our Entertainer branded space. You will be responsible for delivering a great shopping experience for our customers, keeping the shelves full and priced, and confidently answering toy-related questions with your growing toy knowledge.

With the remote Entertainer Manager’s support and guidance, you will have the expertise to work on your own to carry out your main duties which include merchandising stock, replenishing the department, pricing and implementing promotions, while keeping the toy offering up to date and well stocked.

Having bucket loads of enthusiasm will help you with this unique role, where self-motivation, the ability to work on your own initiative, and pride in your work are key attributes.

Key Information

Working Hours: Flexibility to work weekends is required. Contracted weekly hours: 12 hours per week. Shift patterns will vary but will be notified in advance. There may be an opportunity to work extra hours during the week depending on trade.

Rates of Pay: 16-20 year olds - £11.00 per hour; 21-year-old plus - £12.21 per hour. Contract end date: 3rd January 2026.

Your key responsibilities

• Merchandising, handling deliveries, replenishing stock and price management

• Replenishment of section, maintaining cleanliness and good organisation
• Maintain good communication with your colleagues and Line Manager
• Acknowledge customers in the aisles, engage with them and encourage a sale using your product knowledge
