Job summary

The Entertainer Carlisle is looking for a Weekend Sales Assistant who brings a fun, approachable attitude and a love of toys to our busy store. You’ll deliver outstanding customer service and share knowledge about our product range.

Weekends are busy, so you must be available to work both Saturdays and Sundays. You’ll handle till transactions, support merchandising to brand standards, and may be asked to work extra hours during Christmas and school holidays.

Key Information about this role:

16-20 year olds - £11.15per hour.

21-year-oldplus - £12.71per hour

What we need from you:

As a Weekend Sales Assistant, we want you to be:

• available to work both Saturday and Sundays
• confident and approachable
• hardworking and ambitious
• caring and excited about selling toys!     

What your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver outstanding customer service, prioritising customers and delivering a great shopping experience.
• Sharing your knowledge about our product range and offering helpful advice to our customers.
• Actively participate in demonstrating products and occasional character visit days.
• Process sales transactions accurately, securely and efficiently through the till points.
• Maintain merchandising of toys to company standards

Weekends are our busy time so we need to be able to deliver a great experience to our customers. We will offer you a 10 - hour contract. Depending on the trading hours of the store you’re applying for it is also important that you are able to be flexible with start and finish times. We may also ask you to help the store by working extra hours especially at Christmas and in school holidays.
