Job summary

A2Dominion Group in Reading (RG30 3NT) is recruiting a Weekend Restaurant Service Assistant to join Charles Clore Court. You will welcome residents and visitors, serve meals, and help maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and customer care during service.

Working Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 to 14:00, you’ll support the Chef Manager with stock, deliveries and health and safety compliance. An Enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Experience in catering, hospitality, care or customer service environments is desirable.
• Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Serving meals to residents and visitors within the restaurant.
• Providing warm, friendly and professional service at all times.
• Checking resident dietary requirements, preferences and food profiles.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness within restaurant, kitchen and storage areas.
• Assisting with deliveries, stock rotation and monitoring stock levels.
• Supporting the Chef Manager with health and safety, food hygiene and compliance requirements.
• Helping to prepare for inspections and audits where required.
