Job summary
UK Addiction Treatment Group (UKAT) – Primrose Lodge in Guildford is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse to join our clinical team. The role is part-time and permanent, working Saturdays and Sundays 8:00am–4:30pm, providing nursing care to clients undergoing addiction treatment and related disorders.
Experience in addiction settings is desirable; NMC registration is essential. You will be integral to safe, compassionate care, ensuring patient well-being while supporting detoxification,
Qualifications
- Must hold an active NMC registration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, non-judgemental, person-centred approach.
- Ability to administer medications and maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to clients in treatment for addiction and associated conditions.
- Support clients through detoxification, rehabilitation and recovery programmes.
- Monitor physical and mental health; respond to changes in condition.
- Support nutritional and health monitoring for clients with eating disorders.
- Administer medications safely per policies.
- Complete clinical assessments and maintain thorough care documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
