Job summary

Carter Jonas in Winchester is recruiting an Assistant to join our Residential team on a zero hours contract. The role supports the busy sales and lettings teams by arranging and carrying out property viewings across Hampshire on Saturdays from 9:00 to 16:00, providing an introduction to the property industry.

You will handle viewing appointments, follow up questions, answer phones, enter applicants on the database, and help close the day by locking up and securing the office.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with a proactive approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Good administrative and organisational capabilities.
• Happy to work as part of a team and support colleagues.
• IT literate and comfortable with databases and software.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out viewings of properties by appointment with potential tenants.
• Follow-up emails and referring questions/offers to the residential team.
• Answering the telephone and dealing with queries, arranging viewings.
• Entering applicants on the computer database.
• Responsible for shutting down computers and other equipment at day end.
• Locking up and leaving the office secure.
