Qualifications

Weekend Production Operatives – Deeside

Saturday & Sunday | 24 Hours per week | £17.71 per hour | Permanent Role

Looking for weekend-only work? Want a stable, permanent role in a fast-paced FMCG environment? If you’ve got experience in food production and want to be part of a supportive, high-performing team – we’d love to hear from you!

Hours & Pay

  • 24 hours per week on a rotating weekly schedule:

-Week 1 (Nights): Fri 6pm–Sat 6am & Sat 6pm–Sun 6am

-Week 2 (Days): Sat 6am–6pm & Sun 6am–6pm

  • £17.71 per hour (£21,438.14 per annum)
  • Weekday overtime available (not guaranteed)

The Role

As a Weekend Production Operative, you’ll support the smooth running of the production line — from prepping and processing ingredients to packing finished products. You’ll also complete machine adjustments, quality checks, and essential safety processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery to prepare, process, and pack food products
  • Maintain consistent supply of raw materials and packaging to the line
  • Complete production records and documentation accurately
  • Carry out line adjustments, changeovers, strip downs, and re-assembly
  • Perform regular safety checks and ensure hygiene and GMP standards are upheld
  • Monitor quality and compliance with product specifications

What You’ll Need

  • Experience in the food manufacturing industry
  • Working knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Solid literacy and numeracy skills
  • FLT licence is a bonus but not essential
