Job summary

CME Group is seeking a Post-Trade Services and Risk Analyst to support two new initiatives, monitoring risk and systems for Event Contracts over the weekend. You will engage internal stakeholders and external market participants while helping design clearing systems and strengthen operational risk governance.

Applicants should have a finance-related degree and 1–2 years experience in derivatives clearing, with strong Excel skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• MS/BS in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 1–2 years' experience with listed derivatives, Treasury Securities, Repo markets, or OTC products at a clearing house, FCM, or trading firm.
• Securities clearing and operational risk management experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to clearing member firms, customers and business partners on CME Group’s product offering and clearing systems.
• Mitigate customer impactful events through escalation to management and troubleshoot with technology teams to deliver fixes in a timely manner within SLAs.
• Drive improvements in risk management practices and contribute to the Clearing House’s operational risk framework.
• Work globally with teammates on new initiatives and projects.
