Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is expanding its Pharmacy Department and seeking bank pharmacy assistants for weekend and bank holiday work in North Wales. Training will be provided, and previous store/retail experience is helpful.

Applicants should have GCSEs in Maths and English and undertake QCF Level 2 in Pharmacy Services. Welsh language ability is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are welcome.

Qualifications

• GCSE Math and English at grade C or equivalent.
• QCF Level 2 in Pharmacy Services is required/beneficial.
• Weekend and bank holiday availability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing medication/prescriptions.
• Receiving deliveries.
• Stock control and stock management.
• Supply of medication to wards/departments.
• Scanning and filing prescriptions.
• Reception duties related to pharmacy operations.
• General housekeeping within the pharmacy area.
