Cornerstone is seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to support a lively 9-year-old boy with Autism Spectrum Condition and Global Developmental Delay. The role involves weekend work with some weekday hours to support appointments and activities, with flexible hours discussed at interview.

You will help the family with outings, play at home, and personal care as needed, aiming to build confidence, independence and social skills in a supportive environment.

Qualificações

• Previous experience supporting children with additional support needs is desirable but not essential.
• PVG scheme membership will be required.
• Full training will be provided.

Responsabilidades

• Support the child to access community activities and outings.
• Engage in play and activities at home.
• Provide consistent support to build confidence, independence and social skills.
• Assist with attendance at appointments and activities.
• Assist with personal care when required.
