Job summary

BCT Resourcing is recruiting a Weekend PDI Technician for a premium automotive workshop. You will carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI), perform stock checks, and conduct forecourt inspections to maintain safety and presentation.

This role runs Wednesday to Sunday with a fixed salary of £38,640. You’ll have no customer interaction, receive PAYE, holiday pay, pension and uniform, plus comprehensive training in a stable, expanding organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive workshop environment preferred.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools is helpful.
• Good attention to detail and safety-conscious attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) to the highest standards
• Perform stock checking to ensure accurate records and availability
• Conduct periodic forecourt inspections to maintain safety and presentation
• Deal with on-site breakdowns to keep operations running smoothly; some Diagnostic skills are helpful
• Give vehicles a final check before customer test drives
• Work across a variety of makes & models with access to modern tools
• Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive, team-focused environment
