Job summary

Command Recruitment in the United Kingdom is seeking a Weekend PDI Technician to join a premium automotive workshop. The role offers a fixed salary (£38,640) and a Wednesday-Sunday schedule with stable, day-to-day work.

You will carry out pre-delivery inspections, stock checks and forecourt inspections, with some diagnostic tasks and a strong emphasis on quality and teamwork in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• PDI experience or ability to perform pre-delivery inspections
• Diagnostic skills beneficial for vehicle checks
• Experience or capability in stock checking
• Ability to conduct forecourt inspections for safety and presentation

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) to high standards
• Perform stock checks to ensure accuracy
• Conduct periodic forecourt inspections for safety and presentation
• Deal with on-site issues; some diagnostic skills helpful
• Give vehicles a final check before customer test drives
• Work with a range of makes and models using modern tools
• Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive team environment
