Job summary

Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm in the West of England is seeking a friendly weekend Park Ranger to join our Visitor Operations team. You will be the face of the zoo, helping visitors enjoy their day with a warm, proactive approach.

This role is outdoors, requires a full manual driving licence, and involves driving tractors, assisting at the ticket office, and keeping areas clean and safe. The position is permanent, weekend-based (Saturday and Sunday), with shifts from 8am to 5pm.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing, and charismatic; enjoys working outside with the public.
• Full current manual driving licence is essential and confident driving skills.
• Experience of customer service in retail, leisure, or hospitality.
• High cleaning standards.
• Good team player with a flexible can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Help visitors enjoy their day by being friendly, approachable, and responding to queries and questions.
• Drive our Tractor and trailer and provide commentary to visitors on board.
• Keep play areas clean, safe and well-maintained.
• Perform general janitorial duties.
• Keep the site clean and tidy.
• Work in our ticket office and wider Visitor Operations team on a regular basis.

Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm are looking to recruit a friendly, motivated individual to join our Visitor Operations team as a weekend Park Ranger.

You will thrive in a busy, customer-facing team and help with the day to day running of our award-winning zoo.

We are looking for that person who has a flair for providing outstanding customer service, you will be enthusiastic and enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same.

Some of your Responsibilities will be (but not limited to):

• Helping visitors enjoy their day by being friendly, approachable, and responding to queries and questions.
• Driving our Tractor and trailer and providing commentary to our visitors on board.
• Keeping play areas clean, safe and well-maintained.

• Keeping the site clean and tidy.

Please note that you will not be working with our animals in this position

Work Pattern:

2 days per week: Saturday and Sunday, permanent contract.

Working hours: 8am – 5pm (Winter hours may vary).

Salary:

£12.71 per hour
