Job summary

Spanish-speaking Weekend Nanny Job, Notting Hill, ASAP start

A client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Spanish-speaking weekend live in nanny for their three children aged 6, 10, and 12 years.

The family will only consider Spanish speakers as the core requirement of the role is to give the children a full immersion in the Spanish language through everyday activities and conversation, alongside general childcare. The eldest child has a good understanding of Spanish, but the two boys will need full introduction to the language. The family is open to male and female candidates.

The successful candidate will be patient, energetic, and warm, with a lot of initiative and the confidence to help with homework.

Duties:

• Speak with the children in Spanish so it becomes a natural language for them
• Support homework and other tasks (in Spanish wherever possible)
• Plan and accompany the children to weekend activities and outings
• General weekend childcare: meals, routines, and day-to-day supervision
• Walk the family dog as needed

A DBS dated within the last 12 months or on the update service is essential.

Salary: £250 to £300 per 24-hour-period, DOE
Days: Friday to Sunday
Hours: from 3.30pm on Friday through to Sunday evening
Driving: preferable but not essential
Language: Spanish and English essential
Travel: potentially
Pets: one small dog
Accommodation: only on working days
