Job summary

Swegon UK&I is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) for a weekend pattern (Fri–Sun, 06:00–18:00) at our Snodland site. You will perform planned maintenance, breakdown responses and electrical repairs to keep plant safe and reliable.

The role requires reading schematics and hands-on electrical/mechanical work, with travel to other Swegon locations as needed. The ideal candidate has a Level 3 electrical maintenance qualification, 5+ years in industrial maintenance, and a full driving

Qualifications

• Five years’ industrial maintenance experience with electrical fault-finding and routine servicing.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagnose faults on motors, drives and control systems.
• Experience with safe isolation, test equipment and recognising when specialist support is required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned maintenance, inspections and servicing of equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on machinery and control circuits.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform effective repairs for safe return to production.
