Job summary

Pulse Healthcare seeks an experienced Locum General Sonographer for a weekend-only role in London. The six-month assignment offers £56 per hour and a chance to contribute to high-quality patient care.

You will perform abdominal, pelvic and soft tissue scans, explain procedures to patients, follow safety standards, and maintain detailed documentation. Weekend shifts require independence and professional focus.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration or equivalent professional registration.
• Proven experience in general sonography including abdominal, pelvic and soft tissue scans.
• Advanced proficiency with ultrasound equipment and imaging.
• Strong focus on patient care and safety protocols; excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently on weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of ultrasound scans and ensure high-quality imaging for diagnosis.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions while maintaining comfort.
