We are seeking new team members to work specifically on weekends, with potential for additional hours during the holiday season.

Experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Working hours are approximately 10am to 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays, depending on business levels.

The Opportunity

As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring our hotel remains clean, comfortable, and inviting for our guests. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public areas, linen rooms, and storage cupboards, always aiming for exceptional service levels.

You will service hotel bedrooms and public areas according to company standards and within designated time frames. You should be familiar with cleaning standards and presentation for all room categories and report damages or breakages promptly for repairs.

Additionally, you will ensure all equipment is returned to its designated storerooms at the end of each shift and maintain cleanliness and orderliness in storerooms and work areas.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in housekeeping or similar roles preferred
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Physically fit to perform job duties, including lifting, standing for long periods, and working in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with other departments
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Attention to detail, able to identify areas needing extra care

Situated three miles west of Derby city center, with excellent transport links via taxi or train. Close to Peak District National Park, Chatsworth House, and Alton Towers.
