Job summary

Brighton/Suncrest Hospice is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse to provide care for hospice patients in private homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. You will perform admissions, patient visits, symptom management, and respond to calls from patients and families. Travel across the service area with reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing with one year of experience preferred
• Admissions and On-call experience preferred
• Works well within a team and collaborates daily with nurses, social workers and other care staff
• Ability to travel across the service area with reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Provide care and services for hospice patients in private homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals
• Complete hospice admissions and patient visits as needed
• Respond to calls from patients, families and customers
• Perform symptom management, end-of-life care, and admissions as required
• Coordinate with patient care team to ensure high-quality hospice services
