Job summary

Care at Home - Somerset is seeking a Weekend Home Care Assistant to support clients in Crewkerne and surrounding areas. You will work weekends with shift times 07:00-14:00 and/or 16:00-22:00, earning £13.50-£15.50 per hour including travel time paid.

Applicants must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle. The role offers enhanced rates on Bank Holidays and a generous mileage allowance, with full induction and training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is desirable but not required.
• Must have full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care that makes a difference in clients' homes.
• Assist with personal care tasks (hygiene, toileting, dressing) and daily activities.
• Provide support to help clients remain independent and confident.
• Travel between client homes with mileage allowance included.
