Job description

Role: Healthcare Assistant Weekend (Part-Time)

Location: Leeds / Otley / Guiseley / Bramley / Pudsey / Roundhay

Hours: Part-time, Weekends

Available shift patterns:

  • Saturday and Sunday
  • 07:00 - 15:00
  • 15:00 - 23:00

Salary: £12.00

No experience is required as all training is given; a driver and own car are essential. Travel time and mileage paid.

We work alongside the NHS to provide excellent hospital-to-community discharge as well as provide private care. Our clients have a broad range of physical and learning difficulties and complex health and behavioural issues.

The role will involve:

  • Supporting our clients with all aspects of personal care including washing, bathing, and toileting.
  • Administering medication in a way appropriate for the client.
  • Preparing meals for clients where necessary.
  • Providing support with shopping and light domestic tasks.
  • Providing companionship to all clients.
  • More complex care is required with some clients e.g., cough assistance and peg feeding; however, full training is given.
