Job summary

Abstract Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Gift Wrapping Operative for weekend shifts in the Dartford DA1 5FD area. The role involves crafting beautifully wrapped gifts and maintaining presentation quality for jewels, handbags and other items.

Training will precede weekend duties to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 7am to 3.30pm offer a £12.73 hourly rate, with a full-week training required before starting the weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse management or materials handling preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with packaging tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with focus on quality in finishing gift presentations.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse inventory systems for stock tracking.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritise tasks.
• Shipping & receiving experience advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Carefully select and handle wrapping materials to achieve attractive presentation.
• Load, unload and organise wrapping supplies in the workspace using proper techniques.
• Use mechanical knowledge to operate tools safely during wrapping.
• Manage stock levels by stocking supplies and recording inventory in the WMS.
• Ensure gifts are wrapped to high-quality standards with finishing touches.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks for wrapping materials.
• Maintain a clean, organised workspace with safety in mind.

We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Gift Wrapping Operatives to join our dynamic team in Dartford DA1 5FD area. In this role, you will be responsible for picking and creating beautifully wrapped gifts such as jewels or handbags that delight our customers and enhance their shopping experience. Shifts available:

Saturday and Sunday 7am-3.30pm with 12.73£

One full week(Monday-Friday) training is required prior to the weekend only start

Responsibilities

• Carefully select and handle wrapping materials, including paper, ribbons, bows, and decorative accessories to achieve attractive presentation.
• Efficiently load, unload, and organize gift wrapping supplies within the workspace using proper materials handling techniques.
• Use mechanical knowledge to operate any necessary tools or equipment safely during the wrapping process.
• Manage stock levels by stocking supplies regularly and accurately recording inventory using the warehouse management system.
• Ensure all gifts are wrapped to high-quality standards, paying close attention to detail and finishing touches.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks related to gift supplies, ensuring timely restocking and proper storage.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace conducive to efficient workflow and safety compliance.
