Abstract Recruitment Ltd. is seeking energetic Gift Wrapping Operatives to join a dynamic team in a retail warehouse setting. You will craft beautifully wrapped gifts, manage stock, and maintain presentation quality to enhance the customer experience.

Shifts are rotational (6am-2:30pm and 2pm-10:30pm) with a pay rate of £12.73 per hour. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and pride in craftsmanship within a lively retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse management or materials handling preferred.
• Able to lift heavy items safely and perform load/unload tasks.
• Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with packing tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and quality in gift presentations.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse systems for stock tracking.
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Experience with shipping and receiving is advantageous but not required.

Shifts available:

Rotational : Monday till Friday 6am-2.30pm and 2pm-10.30pm with 12.73£

Responsibilities

• Carefully select and handle wrapping materials, including paper, ribbons, bows, and decorative accessories to achieve attractive presentation.
• Efficiently load, unload, and organize gift wrapping supplies within the workspace using proper materials handling techniques.
• Use mechanical knowledge to operate any necessary tools or equipment safely during the wrapping process.
• Manage stock levels by stocking supplies regularly and accurately recording inventory using the warehouse management system.
• Ensure all gifts are wrapped to high-quality standards, paying close attention to detail and finishing touches.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks related to gift supplies, ensuring timely restocking and proper storage.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace conducive to efficient workflow and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse management or materials handling is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks involving load & unload activities.
• Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with tools used in wrapping or packaging processes is a plus.
