Chef & Brewer is seeking an energetic Front of House Team Member for weekend shifts. You will greet guests, take orders at the bar and tables, run food, and manage payments in a fast-paced pub setting. You’ll work closely with colleagues to ensure guests have a warm, seamless dining experience.

This role emphasizes excellent customer service, multitasking, and reliability for Friday through Sunday shifts. Competitive hourly wage, tips, staff meals, and discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience is preferred, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are valued.
• Excellent customer service skills with a natural ability to connect with people.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills to handle a busy weekend rush.
• High physical stamina; ability to remain on your feet and moving for long stretches of time.
• Reliable availability for weekend shifts, including Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm attitude.
• Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer recommendations.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
• Process bills and accept payments securely.
• Keep tables pre-bussed, clean, and ready for the next guests.
• Coordinate with kitchen to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Inspect dishes for presentation, cleanliness, and accuracy.
• Ensure guests have condiments, cutlery, and sides as needed.
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks following recipes.
• Keep the bar clean, stocked, and organized.
• Monitor IDs and enforce minimum age requirements for alcohol.
