Job Title: Weekend Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly and experienced Weekend Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis, providing a professional and welcoming reception experience.

Working Hours: 12 hours per week, every Saturday and Sunday, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

This role is based in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ability to process information quickly, calmly, and in a controlled manner at all times is essential.

Candidate Profile:
  • An experienced receptionist with at least 1 year of experience.
  • Organized, helpful, and capable of multitasking.
  • Computer literate, including Windows/Word/Excel/Outlook or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of telephone systems.
  • Polite, friendly, approachable, with excellent communication skills.
  • GCSE Maths and English qualified, with good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Diligent, accurate, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a professional, welcoming reception experience.
  • Greet visitors and notify staff of their arrival.
  • Ensure visitors sign in/out and record patient movements.
  • Answer and transfer calls, take messages when appropriate.
  • Sort and distribute post; assist with general office duties.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the reception area.
  • Promote safety and security protocols for all site users.
