Job summary

CVS24 at Dovecote Veterinary Hospital in Castle Donington is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our weekend emergency and urgent care team. The role offers a flexible weekend rota (1 in 2, 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 weekends) with weekend shifts from 8am-7pm and support from a referral hospital.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy multidisciplinary hospital with advanced diagnostics, specialist support and a strong nursing team.

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency and urgent care medicine.
• Ability to prioritise and manage clinical cases.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Delivers excellent patient and client care.

Responsibilities

• Manage weekend ECC caseload within a busy multidisciplinary hospital.
• Provide emergency care and referrals as part of the weekend rota.
• Utilise advanced diagnostics and nursing support to optimise patient care.
