Overview

We are looking for hard working, nighttime Care Assistants experienced with supporting vulnerable adults with dementia and other age-related conditions, who live in the Nottingham NG5 area. You will be working through the morning, as part of a team, in a friendly, comfortable, residential home in the Nottingham NG2 area, supporting and caring for individuals with their morning routines, encouraging their independence and contributing to the emotional and wellbeing of the residents who make this their home.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the movement and positioning of individuals
• Offering companionship and care
• Assisting with morning routines

Requirements

• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.

Details

This is an ongoing opportunity and rewarding role. Your typical hours will be Saturday and Sundays starting at 07.00 and finishing at 14.00. You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.55, plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
