Job summary

Nviro Ltd in Portsmouth is seeking a part-time cleaner to join our team serving local community sites. The role involves maintaining clean, hygienic, and safe environments, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and waste disposal on site.

The position features split shifts from 12:00–16:00 and 18:00–22:00, with Saturdays 8 hours, and requires willingness to undergo Police Vetting. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and value dedication and reliability.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in schools, community centres, offices, or similar environments.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and safety procedures.
• Police Vetting will be requested for successful applicants.

Responsibilities

• Clean sites to maintain hygienic and safe environments.
• Dust, vacuum, mop floors and manage waste on site.
• Safely clean bodily fluids when required in designated areas.

Job Type:

Part-time, permanent.

Pay rate:

£13.45 per hour.

Pay frequency:

4-weekly.

Contract:

Split shift - 12pm to 4pm AND 6pm to 10pm, Saturday, 8 hours per week.

Please note: if you're successful in this role, Police Vetting will need to be requested for you.

As one of our cleaners in Portsmouth on sites that represent the heart of the local community, you will clean during the week. Your role will be to keep the site clean, hygienic and safe which will include cleaning the police station custody areas by dusting and wiping surfaces, vacuuming, and mopping floors, and safely cleaning bodily fluids when required.
