Job summary

ICare Group in Stockport is seeking a Community Assistant for weekends to help deliver meals and support clients to live independently at home. This temporary role fits weekend availability with a 10:00–15:00 shift and weekly pay.

You’ll need a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle to travel across the Stockport area. Join a compassionate team focused on wellbeing, with training and ongoing development provided.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Have access to your own vehicle.
• Be able to travel throughout the Stockport area.
• Be willing to obtain business insurance if not already in place.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nutritious meals safely and punctually to clients' homes.
• Make regular wellbeing calls to check on clients.
• Provide a friendly, professional demeanour during all interactions.
• Adhere to company policies including privacy, health and safety, and food hygiene.
• Participate in team meetings to share ideas for service improvements.
