The Abbeyfield Society are a national charity helping to alleviate loneliness and isolation in older people by providing companionship in our supported housing accommodation, retirement apartments and care homes.
The Home:
Lee House is an attractive residential care home located in Wimbledon offering care and support to females over the age of 65.
The home has been carefully designed to offer comfortable accommodation which includes single occupancy bedrooms each with en-suite facilities, a pleasant lounge, dining room and garden. Facilities are also available for family or friends to stay overnight. Residents may personalise their room with small items of furniture and ornaments to promote familiarity.
Hours: Weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday only.
Starting rate of pay: £12.15 per hour.
The Role:
As one of our valued Cleaners, you’re at the front line of care. We’re passionate about creating a lovely environment for our residents to enjoy. So you’ll help us keep our home clean and tidy for our residents and welcome our many visitors.
Every resident should enjoy a tidy and well maintained environment and clean laundry. Your role is key to this.
As a Cleaner at Lee House, you will work within the cleaning and housekeeping schedules as set by the Home Manager or Housekeeping Manager. This varied role may include cleaning of the residents’ bedrooms, the communal areas and offices. By keeping all kitchen and store areas clean, and following all hygienic practices you help protect our residents and keep them safe.
