Overview

As a Cleaner at Teals, you’re here to help build the overall success and reputation of our restaurant and TEALS as a whole. Working collaboratively with the senior front of house team, your role revolves around supporting outstanding guest experiences. Your skills, diligence and standards will ‘add colour’ to our guests’ days. We will encourage you to share ideas that both shape TEALS’ future and create positive impact in our communities. Part time hours would be 7.30am-10am Saturday & Sunday every week with the ideal candidate available to cover weekday holiday where required.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately following operating procedures under supervision.
  • Attentively listening to and acting on direction and adjusting own intensity to maintain pace through busy periods.
  • Communicating closely with team.
  • Meeting appropriate legal standards of health and safety.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe workplace, good personal hygiene and appearance standards for yourself.
  • Carrying out all cleaning duties throughout the front of house areas as determined by Teals.
  • Be organised in your work, meticulously working your way through the store as you move through the week.
  • Cleaning the toilets thoroughly each day.
  • Be reactive and direct with your work.
  • Maintaining a clear, safe, hygienic and well-organised bin store area, liaising with delivery drivers to ensure plastic crates are removed promptly and team ensure bins are appropriately filled to minimize risks of pests.
  • Communicating stock and chemical needs in good time to your line manager.
  • Scheduling deep cleaning routines, the whole store including the toilets

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour
