About us:

We offer specialized neurological care, rehabilitation, and tailored support for individuals with neurological conditions. Our facilities aim to support and improve the lives of people with brain injuries or neurological conditions.

About the role:
  • Ensure all food is correctly and safely prepared, stored, and presented according to Brainkind standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all equipment at the end of each shift.
  • Record cleaning and equipment maintenance schedules in line with policies.
  • Report equipment faults and repair needs promptly.
  • Record all required information as per policies.
  • Report unmet training needs regarding equipment or processes.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, ensure confidentiality, and undertake additional reasonable tasks as needed.
About you:
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene or higher qualification.
  • NVQ or SVQ Level 2 General Catering or equivalent.
  • Previous kitchen experience.
  • Skills in cooking for large groups and accommodating dietary needs.
  • Knowledge of regulations such as COSHH, Health & Safety, HACCP.
  • Teamwork and effective communication with service users.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competent IT skills.
